Unlike many other people, my favorite season is winter. In winter, there are so many activities to do with your loved ones. Ice skating and snowboarding are my personal favorites. I also love spending nights at home on the couch, curled up with blankets and hot chocolate, and watching movies with my friends. I am always insisting that we spend time outside, no matter how cold or snowy it is. Almost all of my friends and family can’t stand this about me. During the winter, they just want to come over and stay indoors. They try telling me it’s because they’re more comfortable indoors, but I think it has more to do with my heating system. A few years ago, my husband did a major heating system update. We installed heated floors throughout the entire home. At first, I didn’t understand how amazing this heating system would be. After its completion, I was blown away. On the first winter night, we turned on the heated flooring system and were truly amazed. Heated water slowly travels beneath the floorboards and heats the entire home evenly. It keeps the floor nice and toasty. We can walk around barefoot in my house and never feel any discomfort! I think my friends keep insisting we stay at home because of this. They keep trying to convince their husbands to invest in this system, but they won’t budge. So instead, they come over and enjoy it at my house instead. Even if we spend lots of time indoors, I still love the winter season. It really is the best time of the year.
