Most kids are not glad about going to school after a log break, & my 7-year-old is no different.
Some mornings are different, but, especially when he’s looking forward to an event or activity at school! Last Friday was career morning, so all the kids had to dress according to their parents careers.
My husband is an HR professional, & I’m a building dealer. I thought I was the obvious choice until my son woke me up to iron his suit. My friend, an Heating & A/C specialist, also has a son in the same class, so we bumped into each other at school. His son also chose his husband’s career, & we found the coincidence hilarious. He shared how he spent the entire ride trying to convince his son what an Heating & A/C specialist does to sway his opinion. I pictured explaining to a 7-year-old how an electric heating system works & couldn’t hold my laughter. This chat reminded me that I’d been procrastinating furnace repair since the heating specialist repaired my boiler last year. I was considering heat pump replacement because he mentioned the component was worn out. I asked my friend to take a look at my heating unit & supply me advice on the way forward. He asked what I thought about an electric Heating & A/C, & I was sad my power bills would be through the roof. He informed me that combining the electric heat pump with a HEPA filter can reduce power consumption. We discussed some energy-saving tips, & I agreed to supply them a try on the condition that he link a wireless temperature control. He promised to send an Heating & A/C serviceman to dislink the old unit as he passed by the store to check for quality Heating & A/C products for sale. I’m looking forward to being able to adjust the temperature control on my phone.
