I will admit, although I know having knowledge on certain subjects is important, if they don’t interest me, I usually won’t read or watch videos about them.
One of the things I had neglected to learn about was the HVAC industry, or more specifically, A/C equipment.
I knew when I lived with my parents, I would see my mom and dad routinely change the heating and air conditioning machine, and they would also have HVAC workers come out to the home for basic A/C maintenance occasionally as well, but that was about it. But when I moved into my first rental home, I found myself shackled with so many different chores. There were so many different things to keep track of! But worse than that, I had no idea how to take proper care of my heating and A/C device. The only thing I knew was how to operate the smart thermostat, and that was about it. I know, my knowledge was pretty bad. I found myself having to call my mother repeatedly, and asking HVAC questions, just to learn about A/C equipment. But since my mom’s knowledge of heating and air conditioning is limited, since she is not a cooling worker, I decided to read some books, and watch some videos online to learn more. It has been an interesting journey, that’s for sure. I learned about HEPA air filters, air purifiers, heat pumps, fireplaces and more. The world of heating and A/C was bigger than I thought. I still have a lot to learn, but I am on the right track.
