I will admit, although I know having know-how on certain subjects is important, if they don’t interest me, I usually won’t learn or watch videos about them; One of the things I had neglected to learn about was the Heating, Ventilation, & A/C industry, or more particularally, A/C equipment… I knew when I lived with my parents, I would see my mom & dad routinely change the heating & A/C machine, & they would also have Heating, Ventilation, & A/C workers come out to the apartment for basic A/C maintenance occasionally as well, however that was about it; But when I moved into my first rental home, I found myself shackled with so various unusual chores, and there were so various unusual things to keep track of! But worse than that, I had no idea how to take familiar care of my heating & A/C device.
- The only thing I knew was how to operate the smart thermostat, & that was about it.
I know, my know-how was pretty bad. I found myself having to call my mother repeatedly, & asking Heating, Ventilation, & A/C questions, just to learn about A/C equipment. But since my mom’s know-how of heating & A/C is limited, since she is not a cooling worker, I decided to learn some books, & watch some videos online to learn more. It has been an interesting journey, that’s for sure. I learned about HEPA air filters, air purification systems, heat pumps, fireplaces & more. The world of heating & A/C was larger than I thought. I still have a lot to learn, but I am on the right track.
