There are a lot of people in this town who work at jobs that only pay them about $5 an hour.
A lot of them work 50 hours a week so that they can pay their bills and just scrape by.
Imagine living in the States off of this kind of pay, you’d have to work 150 hours a week to be able to survive. I have like five income streams each month and work part time in each one, which I’ve been doing for about 25 years now as it seems to work better for me than one job. Heating and cooling equipment repair is one of my jobs, and the others are musician, yoga teacher, and property manager for a local business. I will keep doing this type of work schedule for the next five or six years and then I will collect $2500 a month from the work I put into the system over the past 30 years. I worked for some local contractors over the years doing HVAC repairs and things like that and I put a lot of money into the system and now get to enjoy some of the fruits of my labor. I didn’t work as much as a lot of my friends because I ended up chasing some dreams that didn’t pay me much money, but I got a ton of memories from doing so. I still do some ductwork cleaning jobs here and there but most of the work I do now is online for the company I work for. Have a good one.
