In order for my friend and I to be able to run our home’s boiler in the event that the power goes out, we purchased a generator. Since a few years ago, my partner and I have been debating purchasing a generator, but the time just never seemed right. After my friend and I dealt with a hurricane, our neighbor’s neighbor ultimately decided to purchase one of those sizable whole condo generator systems. Every time my friend and I left our house, it seemed as though my wife and I had to look at the large generator next to their house. My friend and I kept being reminded that we needed to purchase our own generators every time we saw theirs. My friend and I experienced extreme cold during the hurricane’s aftermath, and the only source of heat in our home during that time was the fireplace. That period was difficult. The heating was just one factor in the extended period of time that my associate and I were without power. The lack of electricity prevented my colleague and I from using it to cook or power any appliances. My friend and I decided we wanted to purchase a generator at that point because it was really difficult for our family. As of right now, my friend and I have a generator that is roughly the same size and power capacity as our neighbors’ generator. I suppose it’s great that my friend and I don’t have to worry about the electricity, heating, or cooling going out any longer. My peace of mind regarding our appliances and our heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system has been greatly improved by purchasing this generator.
