My dad is finally almost done with his training at the heating and air conditioning company where he is working. They have been teaching him stuff by taking him out on tasks with other experienced heating and air conditioning techs for the past couple of months. he is ready to go out on his own, and this week he did a heating and air conditioning installation by himself while they watched, luckily for my dad, he seemed to remember everything. He did not forget any of the major parts of doing an air conditioning installation. The woman that is training him said that he did a truly wonderful task, so his confidence was improving a little bit at a time. He is a little bit upset about going out and doing heating and cooling installations all by himself, but he feels that he was just about ready to conquer his fears. The company that he is working for is truly great, so he knows if he ever end up having doubts or complications, he can typically just call into the office and someone will be able to help him or at least walk him through it. This week he was working on a single family residential air conditioning installation with his trainer, but tomorrow he is working on installations for an entire office building. That is going to be legitimately different from this installation, so he is looking forward to working on it. My dad wants to learn everything that there is to know about heating and cooling installation, maintenance work, and repair. He can’t wait until he is ready to finally go out on his own one day soon!
