And he promptly responded by saying that no HVAC serviceman was smarter than him and he’d service the heat pump himself. I pushed back a bit and told him that HVAC serviceman are HVAC professionals. They go through a myriad of training and certification in order to do the work they do for our heating and cooling equipment. I guess I particularly let him have it because he absolutely did the right thing and called the HVAC contractor.
