She has been working for this big company in the village for many years.
Her work took a hit while in the pandemic because it was strenuous to travel. Thankfully, they have an excellent boss who is always ready to listen to innovative ideas. Matt plus her fellow sales reps began working from lake house about 3 months into 2020. They came together to streamline their operation since they couldn’t head out to meet clients face to face. Soon, it was back to company as usual, plus they truly were hitting their targets much easier. It seems folks were more relaxed working from home, plus this translated into enjoyable sales. Towards the end of 2020, Matt had to prepare for winter. Her lake house is outside the village in a remote location, so getting ready for Winter means doing lots of home preparations. Matt began by inspecting the heating idea to make sure all was okay. It’s much easier to test the heating idea while in late fall because the days are freezing enough, and one night, the temperature drop was so severe that Matt decided to turn on the heating system. It did work, but not as well as she expected. It was taking too long to heat the house, plus this was the first sign that there was an issue with the heating system. Matt contacted an Heating & A/C company that took care of homes in her area for assistance, then an Heating & A/C expert did come by, plus she commanded Matt to invest in a current unit before winter. Matt had to agree since the unit in her lake house was over 15 years ago, then later, the Heating & A/C company sent over an Heating & A/C sales rep to talk about her options.
