I reported to work as usual, and we received the day’s tasks.
The senior heating and cooling rep would distribute the different tasks to the teams and keep adding the tasks as they progressed! Our motto was to serve our customers as soon as they commanded.
We were not constantly able to achieve it, but we tried our best. The job before dinner was at a suburban home. The customer was a senior citizen who was having complications with her cooling product and had also asked us to do something about air purification in her home. The first job of the day was a heating and cooling upgrade which took about several hours. Every professional in this industry knows that heating and cooling installs can be complex plus take longer than other processes! Before splitting into dinner, we managed to visit the elderly lady. When she opened the door, I thought she looked familiar, and the whole time we were doing the heating and cooling care with the other heating and cooling workmen, I kept wondering where I had seen her. To improve the air quality, we swapped out her dirty washable filters for disposable air conditioning filters. She would need to have the filters changed every several to several weeks to maintain the proper function of her heating and cooling. The lady had a good dual fuel plan with a SEER rating of 14, but for customers unable to keep up with the heating and cooling repairs, we usually assign a business to help schedule the tune-ups and repairs for the proper maintenance of the quality A/C equipment! As I spoke to her, I realized she was my kindergarten mentor. She was so proud of what I had become, plus I was equally proud of seeing her again. She looked well.
