Nobody leaves a job until its finished

My boss Max has this strict rule but nobody can leave the office until almost everyone has finished up with all the work for the afternoon, however occasionally that can be a nuisance when you finish up 90 minutes before the rest of the crew.

Max will usually send us to help someone finish up, but oftentimes the heating as well as A/C repairs which do not require any more hands.

All of us still have to wait until the last man finishes up. Max thinks this is the fairest way to make sure that almost everyone does their work as well as not try to complete things more abruptly than they should be done. I have worked out a few other heating as well as A/C service providers that have the same rule. I dislike it, although I can understand it. Last month I got sent downtown to help a guy with a ductless Heating as well as A/C insulation gig. The current guy was having some trouble. It really wasn’t his fault. The wiring for his building turned out to be much more strange than the redprints showed. I was already at the office when this guy called for help as well as I told Max that I would go. Every once in a while it’s nice to look like a team player. When I got to his apartment, I understood exactly why the guy needed help. There was no way of knowing where any of the wires were situated because of the crazy construction that was done on the building 40 years ago. Max and I ran tests on that upgrade until almost 8:30.
