When I was renovating our powder room I realized that I needed to put the window in the shouwer.
- I didn’t want to be seen showering from the outside though, however so I legitimately wanted to put glass blocks in there; Rather than a window having a glass block wall would offer light however not expose me.
I did some research plus glass blocks are upscale plus difficult to lay, and a lot of people had horror stories of messing up the installation, then the walls weren’t airtight plus let in rainwater, dirt plus bugs. Some people messed up the framework of the loft while doing the installation. It looked love quite a bit of work plus a large margin of error; My fiance then came up with a brilliant idea. He told me to do the window, however just add a decorative window motion picture. It didn’t even occur to me to change the look of the glass… Now I do have a large window in the shower, however the decorative window motion picture looks love glass blocks. I worked with the window motion picture supplier for weeks designing the best look. It looks love a glass block wall from inside plus outside of the house, and when you are in the hsower you can feel that the glass is smooth instead of ripples, then you can see it isn’t individual blocks however rather 1 pane of glass. I just love the look in our powder room. It has been holding up very well with steam plus water being near it too. I suppose someday I will need to get a window motion picture replacement, however thankfully that same supplier can help me out.
