I’m cheerful that both of us have been able to get through the worst of the pandemic and still keep our home.
That’s a sizable win as far as I’m nervous.
There was a time there that keeping our home was not a sure thing. At the start of the pandemic, our hubby and I both got sent lake house from the zone controlled Heating plus A/C of our respective offices. Initially, I thought both of us might be out a week or several. But surely, once the heat and humidity of summer time came, the virus would be on the ropes. Well apparently, that didn’t happen at all. All of us didn’t end up back in that zone controlled Heating plus A/C for more than a year later. That first summer time of the pandemic was legitimately tough. Not only were both of us cooped up inside the Heating plus A/C cooling of the home trying to work from home. All of us were both dealing with sizable pay cuts. The fact was that both of us were making more than 40 percent less. And that meant that both of us were barely able to pay our bills. Perhaps both of us overspent on our home. But both of us loved it and wanted to live here in the worst way. So both of us decided that we’d do what both of us had to do to keep our home. Finishing off the basement and adding a ductless heat pump would help. This would then be suitable for a fantastic cabin for a renter. And it would mean having some mortgage insurance for us. All of us did just that and were so impressed by the quality heating and air that comes with the ductless heat pump.
