To use a trusted analogy, physical fitness is not a sprint, it’s a marathon.

More to the point, it is a marathon we are all running even if we don’t want to. In other words, just because you don’t care about your physical health doesn’t mean it can;t hurt you. Ignoring your health is like the ostrich who buries it’s head in the sand to hide from predators – it does the ostrich no good, but it is too dumb to realize it until it’s too late. You can’t hide from physical fitness and you can’t hide from mortality, so you better embrace it. Not everyone is right for the gym, and not everyone can do the same types of exercise. It is imperative that you find some form of physical fitness that will keep you active, even if they aren’t formal health plans. Taking a walk every day is nice, but it’s not enough, you need to push yourself farther as time goes on. A workout program doesn’t have to involve weights, but it does have to involve motivation and discipline, which is why you need to make those walks harder, faster, and longer! I think that yoga is a great place to start when it comes to personal fitness. You can do yoga anywhere there is an open spot on the floor, it requires no equipment, and there are hundreds of free yoga videos online. Walking, jogging, and yoga are three different easy and free ways to start tuning up your health. You’ve got no excuse not to try one of them!
