I opened the door plus walked to the mailbox the other afternoon.
This is something that I generally do the actually first thing after I put on my robe.
And on that afternoon, I was already perspiring by the time I got back to my front door. The Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling season is once again upon us plus that’s just the way it is. It’s not as though I dread the summer. But in this region, it’s by far our most costly Heating plus Air Conditioning season by far. The Winter hardly even registers on the Heating plus Air Conditioning cost scale. The heat pump just doesn’t come on all that much so the heating costs around here are negligible. Fall plus Springtime aren’t too terrible either. In the fall, we’re coming out of the heat season so the two of us need far less Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling with that change. And the two of us try not to go to deep with the a/c in Springtime so the two of us can acclimate to the heat again. Still, the Summer is not manageable without Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling plus plenty of it. To that end, I follow a tried plus tploy a/c strategy that starts with the a/c tune-up in the Springtime. From there, I make sure the home stays undoubtedly tight. That means new weather stripping if necessary plus making sure all gaps plus cracks are sealed on the exterior. I make sure there is no direct sunlight heating by pulling drapes in that part of the house. Finally, I program the control component so it’s never more than 15 degrees cooler than the outside air while in the peak heating minutes of the afternoon.
