I surely miss the more simpler times when technology wasn’t as high tech and confusing as it is today. With me being older I am not one to understand today’s technology very well. Especially when it comes to heating and air conditioning technology. I can remember growing up when mostly everyone had window air conditioning systems for their cooling. And when it broke down it did not cost hundreds of dollars to fix! You did not even have to call a heat and a/c company to send out a certified heating and air conditioning specialist to fix your air conditioner. You actually would take it out of the window and bring it to one of those electric repair shops. Most of them dealt in TV, stereo and radio repair as well. This was your heating and air conditioning repair specialist back when I was young. And it maybe cost no more than 80 or 90 bucks to get that window air conditioning unit back up and running again compared to the several hundred it would take to get a central heating and air conditioning system unit back up and running today after a breakdown. Like I said, I really miss the simpler times of life. I don’t know why technology seems to make things more complicated but at the same time provides a benefit that makes the old ways outdated and the new ways preferred. But regardless, I would personally take the old heating and air conditioning technology back any day over the complex heating and air conditioning technology of today.
