Should I still get a heating system if I have a fireplace?

Do you think that I should still get a heating system if I have a fireplace? I am building our house, plus the contractor wants me to make a decision about the heating systems.

I have already decided that I absolutely want to install a fireplace in our house. I have never had a fireplace in our house, however the lake house that I grew up in as a kid absolutely had a fireplace, plus I appreciated it. There is something about a fireplace that makes you moderate plus welcome, plus the stink of burning wood is appealing. I will have the fireplace linked to a series of vents so that the fireplace will consistently be able to give heat to our entire lake house rather than just the room that the fireplace is in. Since I think that I want a fireplace, that section of the planning is simple. However, I don’t think if I want a heating system as well. The contractor asked me if I wanted to install a heating system, plus at first, I did not understand why I would even want to install a heating system. Why would I want to install a heating system? Once the contractor explained it, it made sense. During the middle of the night, the fireplace will usually burn out, leaving the lake house pretty cold. If I purchase a heating system, the heating system would only kick on during those hours plus would run until I got the fireplace going. It wouldn’t be really high-priced, however it would act as a heat source during the middle of the night. The heating system would also act as a backup in case something ever happened to our fireplace. Although it would be high-priced, it sounds appreciate a great plan to have a heating system just in case.
