Call Your HVAC Professional for Advice Before Building Your Home

I am considering building a home. I already own a house, but quite frankly it does not suit my needs 100%. I think that when you buy a house that has already been built, it does not really suit every purpose that you have or every aesthetic quality that you like. Building your own home is the way to go! I have put my home on the market and I have started searching for a building contractor. One thing my brother suggested to me is something that I did not think of. He recommended that I find an HVAC consultant or HVAC engineer to help in the process of Designing the new house. He said that many Architects or designers tend to forget about the air conditioning and heating system. The HVAC becomes something that they just have to fit in. Sometimes they don’t account for ductwork at all, and then you have to go back and redo the blueprints. It is shocking, I know, But when I called my local HVAC company he did indeed admit that it is very smart to consult with the heating and cooling specialist before you actually start building a home. Did indeed say that some Builders do not consider the aesthetic or even the proper spacing for good quality heating and cooling systems. Rather, they build the house the way they think you should be and then later just kind of stick in an HVAC system somewhere where it fits. Sometimes my brother gives me really good advice. Anyway, I am having my heating and cooling guy working directly with my Builder to make sure that the blueprints / plans take into account the fact that I want HVAC with zone control.
