My sister and I own a small beach house out by the lake.
Every year in the early Springtime, our sister and I head out to the beach house and supply it a thorough cleaning.
The winds coming off the lake during the Winter can wreak havoc with the cabin. We’ve already walked in there with broken windows and debris all over the inside. After the cleaning is done, and both of us make repairs, both of us call the Heating and A/C supplier to have the air conditioner unit checked. When you’re renting out a beach house by the lake during the summer, people expect to not just have a great shower with tepid and cold running water, however they want to have excellent air conditioner. Get rid of the tepid sticky sand from your body, and then relax in the AC. Last year, both of us added a tepid tub to the backyard of the cabin, which became a big draw. However, it did not negate any of the necessity for air conditioner, and really made it more of a necessity. All of us could double the fee that we were collecting for a week’s rental of the cabin, and the added income went toward making more repairs and improvements. This year, both of us wanted to put in ductless Heating and A/C. The seasoned central Heating and A/C plan was about shot, and it was time for a change. With ductless Heating and A/C, less repair would be needed, and each room would have its individual comfort. I would’ve never believed that a $2000 tepid tub could make such a difference in our income, however it has, and because of it, our tenants have more comfortable Heating and A/C than ever before.
