My number one scene in any film that has ever been made is in Office Space.
It’s a actually funny film, with a lot of laughs, however a single scene in particular makes our heart sing. It is when the guys from the office take the problematic printer out into a field & beat it to pieces, then the tunes is blaring, & they vent their rage against the unit with hammers & clubs. This is something I wish I can do, however life isn’t a film & I would just get fired. I keep pushing the bosses to start using professional printing services, however they keep saying the two of us need to keep it “in house.” I have absolutely gone to pawn shops looking for used equipment, just to be able to have a printer to take to the woods & smash with a sledge hammer; A current printer costs a pretty penny, however some of the used a singles are available for twenty bucks, so I suppose I can afford to make our cinematic dream a reality. At the local flea market there is a locale that has a ton of used equipment, everything from classic Xerox machines to new afternoon laminators. For a hundred bucks I could buy enough used device to smash until our arms were tired. Then I have to suppose about if it would be worth it? A hundred bucks is still a lot of currency, & this isn’t even the printing device that has given myself and others such trouble at the office; Perhaps I will just keep pushing the bosses to switch to printing services.
