Getting back to where residential HVAC is the norm

It’s always sort of weird for me when I am back in this country.

There are just so many things going on here that sometimes, it’s a bit overwhelming.

I’ve spent almost my entire adult life living overseas in developing countries. So just seeing a thermostat on the wall is a bit unusual for me. Residential HVAC is not something that was at a prevalent in the regions I’ve worked in the past 25 years. Modern HVAC units are just not really at all abundant in the developing countries I’ve been living and working in. Being back here, I have to say is a bit of a shock even when it comes to the basics like HVAC technology. This time, it’s even more strange as I’m going to be based here now. After 25 years abroad, I’m going to being doing most of my work stateside now. That means that I’m buying my very first home. It’s just a small house with 2 bedrooms but that’s plenty of room for me. I think I’m going to get a dog as well. But the first thing I had to buy was new HVAC equipment. I chose to go with the ductless multi split system and that has proven to be just perfect. I like that the ductless heat pumps are so efficient. Maximizing the efficiency of my HVAC technology was a definite priority for me. I’m still getting accustomed to living with all the convenience that so many take for granted. But I’m glad to start that practice with great residential HVAC.
