I’m having the best time simply enjoying the spring.
In fact, I was so happy that spring was going to be easy that it made the winter all that much more pleasurable as well.
Around here, winter is that time of year where most of us really enjoy the fact that the HVAC cooling isn’t on all the time. Our winter really shouldn’t even be called winter. The heat pump hardly even has to come on. There are a few cold snaps that require a bit of HVAC heating but that’s even rare. However, I’ve always had a bad time with winter. When I should have been reveling in the good weather, I was stressing because I knew the spring was coming soon. Our first wave of pollen comes in late February or first week of March. Normally, that’s the time I’m most afraid of because of seasonal allergies. I suffer wildly from the tree and grass pollen that is just so abundant during our spring. It really can just overwhelm me. Some years are so bad that I have to have the doc put me on strong prescription meds to handle it. Even in my house, I got not relief. This year, my home is a refuge from the pollen thanks to whole home air purification. This air purifier sits inside the HVAC equipment and destroys airborne contaminants with UV light. So that is the end to any pollen floating around in my home. It’s hard to believe that a whole home air purification system would allow me to enjoy spring as much as I am.
