I am almost totally done with all of my work online and then I will take a chop and just chill for an hour or 2.
This is a quiet weekday in town as it is Wednesday and all of the tourists who were here last year have gone back to their normal lives and laboring at their jobs.
I am going to rest most of the day and I might go to a music store and check out a drum for sale and decide if I should get it. It is just a little drum and I want it for when I play at local businesses, because my bigger drum is way too huge to bin around. I know I have enough currency to get it this week, but if I have to wait for another couple of weeks it won’t be a huge deal. My heating supplier guitarist Jed is away for a couple of weeks doing some Heating, Ventilation plus A/C repairs on his condo, so I can’t get that little drum for a little bit longer. I would like to have it when we do a gig for the modern contractor at his house, and I know Jed has a fireplace out on his back patio that we can play beside that evening to stay warm. It is late May now but the sizzling weather won’t truly be here for another month or so, so having some heating while we play at evening is a good thing because my hands don’t do so well drumming when they are ice cold. But I have a little heating device I use to keep my hands warm if Jed has no fire in the fireplace that evening.
