My lab loves the heat in the car. I just can’t figure him out. I’ve had her for a few weeks now, and the only thing that he likes doing more than anything else is riding around in the car with the heat blasting right into his face. My lab doesn’t like being in the car if the heat is off. I don’t know what I’m going to do during the summer. Maybe he will feel the same way about the air conditioning, but I don’t know. He seems to be one of those labrador retrievers who is cold all the time. He wants to lay in the daylight next to the windows in the house, and he likes to stay by the heating vents in the hallway and in the bathroom. By far, his favorite thing to do is to stick his nose right into the heating vent in the car while I am driving around. The other day I started to think that maybe it’s because he can smell all of the unusual odors that are coming in through the heating vents from the outside or something. I’m not sure what the reason is, but he is constantly begging to go for car rides so he can sniff the heating vents. It’s quite cute to watch him do that. I am cheerful that I ended up getting this lab because he has brought a lot of joy to my life. I never expected him to love the heating system in the car quite so much though.
