Every Friday day, there is a local and organic food market in the parking lot at the community center.
The local and organic food market has more than 30 different vendors.
We can buy a variety of fruits, vegetables, and local crafts from the market. My husband and I like to go to the market to buy all of our fruits and vegetables. Instead of paying extra taxes at the grocery store, all of our cash goes right to the farmers. We took our kids to the local and organic food market on Friday and there was a sizable display from a local beekeeping supplier. They were selling different types of honey products. Honey is one of the most amazing byproducts that comes from an insect. Honey is certainly sweet and can vary in flavor, color, and odor. There are hundreds of different flavors and varieties of honey and they all contain iron, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. Honey has been shown to help gastrointestinal disease, wounds, and the typical cold. Honey is generally safe and there are certainly few people that end up with allergies to the sweet, sticky, substance. We decided to buy a couple of different honey products while we were at the market. I bought some bee pollen, beeswax, and royal jelly. I also bought several different flavors of honey to use as natural sweeteners. In my house, we do not use any sugar or sweeteners unless they naturally occur. We use honey, and maple syrup. We try to maintain a healthy diet with natural foods that aren’t processed or refined.
