I thought that the boiler was damaged, but it turned out that it was the temperature control. When the house started to get icy last week, I could only feel that there was something disturbing with our high efficiency heating system. My friend and I had the heating system installed last year, but we have not truly had to run it legitimately much until the past month or so. Winter came late for us this year, to say the least. It didn’t truly get all that cold here where we live until just the last couple of weeks or so. Then abruptly, the temperature started cooling down outside, and we had to turn the temperature control up. Much to our dismay, when we turned the temperature control up, the heating system did not seem to do what we wanted it to do. The heating fan ran and ran, but there was not truly any hot air coming out of the heating vents at all. I couldn’t understand what was going on, and it seemed like the boiler was running always. Even so, the temperature in the house never got any warmer. I called our local heating and cooling company to make a heating repair appointment, and I thought that I was going to have to pay a fortune for a heating repair. It turned out that there wasn’t anything wrong with the boiler at all. This was a relief for sure. It was nice to know that we had not ended up with a busted heater! The issue was the fact that the temperature control was broken, not the heater. It was easy maintenance, and we didn’t have to pay much at all for the heating and air conditioning appointment.
