We’ve been having a pretty exhausting time the last few weeks.
If we didn’t have exhausting luck we’d have no luck at all, as the saying goes.
Our families got COVID recently. We were all immunized, but they still got sick. Somehow we didn’t get sick, which is such a relief. But we still have to take care of several sick people, which is too much. We’re doing our best to stay well, because if we get sick who will take care of our families? As if that wasn’t enough, we started experiencing problems with our central Heating & Air Conditioning system at a time when we needed it more than ever before. We observed some minor problems with spotty air circulation, so we decided to check on the air filters to see if they needed changed. Much to our surprise we found that the system did not have an air filter in it at all. This was very odd because we distinctly recall changing the air filter not too long ago. We didn’t unfasten the air filter, so what happened to it? No one in the loft could answer that question, they were too sick and exhausted. We had to update the air filter, of course, however there was the larger issue of having breathed in the COVID-contaminated air for the entire time people were sick. We rely on the HEPA air filters to remove harmful viruses and bacteria from the air. We took a COVID test and it came back negative, so hopefully we dodged a bullet and the current HEPA air filter will keep us safe.
