I woke up this afternoon, plus I could smell fuel in the house, but the first thing I thought was that fuel was leaking from our gas tank, plus I had to turn the oil furnace off before it caught fire! I walked outside, plus the smell was just as bad, however now, I was wondering if I had fuel delivered plus they spilled some fuel on the ground.
I called the gas corporation and asked if they had delivered fuel to the house.
They said no plus asked what was going on. I told them about the smell of fuel, but she told me to call the heating plus A/C corporation. She thought there could be something wrong with the fuel nozzle, but I should turn on anything in the basement or in the house. She also commanded that I vacate in case there is a misfire plus the oil furnace blows up. This made me feel even less safe. I went to my sibling’s house and called the heating plus A/C corporation. They were going to send an emergency team to the house plus make it an emergency. Another minute later, the heating plus A/C corporation called me back. They had gone into the house plus done an inspection of the house plus the oil furnace. They found nothing wrong, but they detected the smell of gas in the house plus outside. The heating plus A/C specialist wanted to call the gas corporation plus have them check their natural gas lines in the area! He said this could be a widespread problem. If not for the heating plus A/C specialist, many people could have lost their homes, plus possibly their lives.
