I was sure that our Heating and Air Conditioning worker was walking just fine when he came into the house.
He got out of the service van as well as nearly jogged to our door, then when I opened the door, he was smiling at me.
He headed right down to the basement to check out our furnace; I knew our son was downstairs in the playroom, though, so I went to check on him. I yelled to him when I got down there and I heard him call back from the furnace room. After telling him to get out of the furnace room so that the Heating and Air Conditioning worker would do his work. The HVAC tech told me he was fine, but that they were having a great chat. An hour later, the Heating and Air Conditioning worker came back upstairs with our son in tow. I noticed the Heating and Air Conditioning tech was limping. Plus his knee looked stiff. He looked at our son and said that he’d be seeing him later. Then he sat down on the chair at the table. He showed me the job order as well as told me the furnace was in great shape for another year. I could not help but wonder why he didn’t mention his knee problem. I finally asked if he was hurt while he was working in the basement. He laughed as well as said our son wanted to play cowboy as well as he was the guy making all of the horseshoes. He had to have a wooden leg, or he would not look like the guy from his Mom’s number one tv show, Gunsmoke..He had been walking stiff legged while playing for almost an hour, and so his knee was locked up. The Heating and Air Conditioning worker did some knee bends to loosen up and then walked out of the house.
