I was pretty sure the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist was walking fine when he came into the house this morning. He got out of the maintenance van and then he nearly jogged to my door, but when I opened the door, he was smiling! He went right down to the basement to check out my gas furnace. I knew my kid was downstairs in the playroom, so I went to check on him. I yelled to him when I got down into the basement, and then I heard him call back from the gas furnace room that he was fine. After telling him to get out of the gas furnace room, because the HVAC specialist needed to do his work, the HVAC tech told me he was fine… They were having a great chat. An hour later, the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist came back upstairs with my kid on his back. Then I noticed the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech was limping plus his knee looked stiff. He looked at my kid and told him that he would see him later. Then he sat down at the table. He showed me the work order that he did. He said that the gas furnace was great for another year. I could not help wondering why he didn’t mention his knee problem to me before. I finally asked if he was hurt in the basement while they were playing but he just laughed and said my kid wanted to play cowboy. He was the person making horseshoes. He had to have a wooden leg, or he would not look like the guy from his dad’s number one tv show. He had been walking stiff legged for almost an hour, and so now his knee was locked up. But then the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C specialist did some knee bends and then he was fine.
