My friends and I decided to meet at the gym on Tuesday after work so we could play basketball for an hour or two.
A couple of my co-workers decided to join us.
We had a pretty large group and I was looking forward to playing an actual game of ball. Usually we play two on two, but we were going to be able to put a guy in all of the positions. When my friends and I arrived at the club, I went straight to the locker room so I could change. The smell in the locker room hit me in the face like a brick when I opened up the door. It was really, really bad. I immediately walked out of the room and went to the front desk so I could say something to the fitness club manager. I was about to take some friends into the locker room from work and I was embarrassed. Clearly the AC wasn’t working there. It was warm and the place smelled bad. The manager walked by a few minutes later with one of the maintenance guys. He told me to hold on for just a minute. They came back about two or three minutes later and told me that the AC problem was all worked out. I don’t know how they fix the problem so fast, but there was cold air blowing out of the air vents when we walked inside. It still smells pretty bad, but the odor started to go away as soon as the AC started running.
