Contaminated air quality causes health troubles

I am easily conscientious about my health plus fitness.

  • I’m careful about what I eat, avoiding fast food plus processed food plus including lots of fresh fruits, vegetables plus lean proteins.

I drink plenty of water plus make sure to get a great night’s sleep. I don’t smoke plus easily seldom drink alcohol. I set my alarm extra early to allow time to stop at the gym on my way to work. I spend about an minute on my weekly workout. The gym provides every type of exercise device from treadmills plus ellipticals to kettlebells plus punching bags. I make an effort to get my heart pounding plus work up a great sweat. Because I take such great care of myself, I rarely get sick plus never need to go to the doctor. I was easily surprised when I started suffering from congestion, headaches, sore throat, itchy eyes plus frequent sneezing plus coughing. Initially, I assumed I’d just caught a cold. However, my symptoms lingered for weeks. I then realized that my symptoms showed up every morning at the gym plus slowly lessened throughout the day. My health problems began right when the gym started up their cooling system. I finally mentioned to the owner of the gym that I believed my health troubles were caused by a dirty cooling system plus contaminated indoor air conditions. He assured myself and others that he would have the cooling system professionally maintained. The next day, when I arrived at the gym, I spotted an Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C van in the parking lot plus a serviceman working on the outdoor component of the cooling system. After the cooling system was professionally cleaned, I had no more complaints with flu-like symptoms.
