Our first Christmas together was a surprise on a couple of levels.
First, I wasn’t exactly prepared for how deeply committed my current partner was to celebrating the holidays.
I knew that she was into it for sure. She was the only a single I knew who would wear a Christmas sweater in the air conditioner to mark August 25th. But that first holiday season both of us shared in our first current home was something else all together. That current home was not the finest in the land. It had not the best quality heating plus air due to the age plus wear on the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C equipment. But both of us were saving our money for a downpayment on a house. So both of us had to make do in that current home for a few years. And those first few holiday seasons with my partner are some of my fondest memories of our lives together. Still, I was sort of shocked that love just mornings after Thanksgiving, that current home with the so so heating plus cooling was filled with holiday candles. I mean filled. My partner prefers to spend the evenings of holiday season by candlelight. And indeed, it’s just so lovely to experience. I don’t guess I’ve been cozier than those evenings those first years. But all those candles nearly finished off that less than stellar Heating, Ventilation plus A/C equipment. All the burnt wax covered the air filter plus almost choked out the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C device with limited air flow. These mornings, as soon as it’s Thanksgiving week, I option up an entire case of Heating, Ventilation plus A/C air filters.
