There’s a powerful air purifier in the hotel lobby. The powerful air purifier has been there since the very beginning of the covid-19 virus. For roughly sixty days, the hotel was shut down and all of us didn’t have any shoppers in the building… When the quarantine was eventually lifted, all of us opened with limited capacity and a sizable amount of rules and regulations! One of the rules stated that our lobby required a powerful air purifier capable of cleaning the air in that space. Every one of us called a commercial HVAC equipment business and they came to the hotel and measured the square footage of the lobby. They were able to determine what style of air purifier was necessary to meet the new rules and regulations. The powerful air purifier is rented HVAC equipment and the hotel pays a weekly fee. Included in the rental rate is a visit from a licensed and certified HVAC specialist each week. The HVAC specialist regularly checks on the HVAC equipment on Mondays. I had to call the guy early this week, because I came to work just the other day and the powerful air purifier stopped working overnight. The guy on the evening shift told myself and others that the powerful air purifier stopped working in the middle of the evening… He didn’t call myself and others at home, because he didn’t easily think it was a major deal. I instantly called the HVAC business that services the powerful air purifier and I made an appointment for the same day. I was glad the evening clerk didn’t wake myself and others up, but the broken air purifier certainly was a huge deal. If the health department visited our hotel that day, all of us would have been in some trouble.
