There’s an air purification appliance in the hotel lobby. The air purification appliance has been there since the beginning of the covid-19 virus… For sixty days approximately, the hotel was shut down and every one of us didn’t have any patrons in the building. When the quarantine was lifted, every one of us opened with limited capacity and a bunch of rules and regulations. One of the rules stated that our lobby needed an air purification appliance capable of cleaning the air in that space. We called a commercial Heating and A/C appliance company and they came to the hotel and measured the square footage of the lobby. They determined what genre of air purification appliance was necessary to meet the new rules and regulations. The air purification appliance is a rented machine and the hotel pays a regular fee. Included in the rental rate is a visit from a licensed and certified Heating and A/C appliance specialist each week. The Heating and A/C specialist most often checks on the machine on Sundays. I had to call the guy early this week, because I came to task the other day and the air purification appliance stopped working overnight. I was really grateful the night clerk didn’t wake me up, but the broken air purification appliance was absolutely a big deal. If the health department visited our hotel that day, every one of us would have been in some crucial trouble.
