When I was growing up, our dad consistently used to repair everything at home, he was a definite Mr.
Fix It, & people would come from all over town to get his help on fixing everything from their sodmower to their horse trailer to their boat.
Both of us consistently had people down at our garage waiting around for him to repair things. So it’s easily not a surprise that he was consistently fixing everything around our apartment too. I don’t remember ever having an electrician, plumber, carpenter, or heating & cooling serviceman at our apartment once the entire time I was growing up… No, our dad used to consistently take care of everything & it was truly nice. I remember once when our old central cooling method went on the bconnect in the middle of the Summer & our dad was out of town going to see his sister in the next state over. Both of us didn’t guess what to do because the temperature outside was so hot that week & our mom & I didn’t guess what all of us were going to do without the A/C for a whole week! Both of us called our dad at his sister’s apartment & he told us that all of us shouldn’t call the Heating & Air Conditioning serviceman. He said he would be current home the next day to repair it. Sure enough, the next day when I woke up, our dad was down in the basement working on the central A/C method & before truly long, the apartment was cooling off again just love it should. Then our dad got back in his truck & drove back to finish the visit with his sister.
