I care about online shopping more than going to a shop. I love that I can wear pjs, have our hair in a knot & not put on any lipstick, and nobody can see me & I can spend hours looking into & hemming & hawing over a purchase. I rarely make a purchase that I am bummed about. When I go into a store, I am obligated to buy. If a salesperson puts in the effort, I am stupid enough to think I have to reward them. That is how I end up with jeans that fall down our butt, shoes that look belong on an old woman & a chair in our office that doesn’t match the walls. There are particular things that are tough to get right when you buy online. I am constantly pretty careful when the dimensions of the object matter. I have lucked out getting perfectly sized rugs, pots & even grocery items, then recently I have been messing up buying air filters for our Heating & A/C system. For some reason I just can’t get this perfect. For our first attempt, I didn’t even think about sizing. I looked up our Heating & A/C model & what type of air filter I should choose. I then purchased the cheapest a single. Well I purchased a baby sized air filter that didn’t fit in our system. Next time I went ahead and made the perfect measurements & then realized I chose the wrong type. The fourth time I accidentally purchased a washable filter & that was ridiculous. Finally I have bought the right air filter, however it took way longer & more money when I could have gotten it right if I had gone into the store.
